By default Alt combo is grabing ctrl key too. So when I press

alt+f2 to launch app, it was taking me to second virtual console

For this remedy is: Run followins as root

rc-update del keymaps default; rc-update add keymaps boot

you need to know the exact number of days in a
month, here is one simple way to get it:

    cal 2 2000 | awk '/2[89]|3[01]/ { days = $NF }END { print days }'

Add following perl code to any file. After execution, that file will delete it self.

Following command compares files in two folders and prints out odd files. but excludes CVS and its sub folders

diff -r –brief old_src/src/ src/ | awk ‘{if($0 !~ /CVS/) print $0}’

On Hofo and other forums lot of people just can’t use Cell Info/Broadcatsing Feature (Location Info Feature) :d

Usually it is used to get our Current Location (City). Also known as Area Info..

Now in Cell/General Broadcast Option..
Enable Service (Service=On)
Active Channel=50 (in some country 141/144)
Q.View (Quick View)=50 (as per Active Channel)
Save Q.View=Yes (if you want to have all Info Messages to be stored on the phone) else NO (Recommended)

This is tested with Motorola SLVR L7 [because I owned one ]
